About this collection
I don't believe in rushing art. When we plan your personalized design, I block out dedicated time for the fine details, like weaving your partner’s initials or a special date into the pattern. It requires patience, but the result is a design that is truly yours and not just another catalog pattern.
Every bride has a different story, and my job is to make sure your mehndi tells that story. Whether you want to include your partner's initials, a representation of your wedding venue, or a portrait that captures a special moment, I work with you to integrate these elements into your bridal henna.
Why Personalisation Matters
When you choose a personalized design, we move away from standard patterns. We create something that feels like it belongs only to you. I have worked with brides who wanted intricate temple architecture, names written in Arabic script, or specific floral motifs that match their bridal lehenga. This process is collaborative. I prefer to discuss your ideas during a pre-event consultation so that when I arrive, I have a clear vision of how to balance the heavy bridal density with your specific symbols.
My Process
Personalized elements are time-intensive. If you look at my work, you will see fine lines and dense shading. This requires focus. I use fresh, natural henna paste, which takes time to stain. The beautiful deep maroon color you see in my photos doesn't happen overnight; it develops over 24 to 48 hours after application. By keeping the design focused and clean, I ensure your personalized elements stand out clearly against the darker stain.
Location & Planning
I am based in HBR Layout, Bangalore, but I travel to wedding venues across the city. Because custom work needs space and time, I usually book one bride per day for these packages. This ensures I am not rushing to another appointment and can give your design the attention it needs. If you have a specific idea or a sketch in mind, send it over when you reach out. I am always excited to try new concepts.
Mehendi Art by Nishat
Mehndi isn't just work for me, it’s my happy place. I love getting to know my brides and weaving their love stories right into the henna, whether it’s a portrait or a tiny detail hidden in the pattern. My goal is always that moment when you look at your hands and just smile.
