About My Philosophy & Announcements
Before you join a session, understand that my method is not about memorizing scripts or performing for an audience. It is about Antardhwani, or finding your inner voice. In every workshop, whether we are in Delhi, Bangalore, or online, I focus on the 'Voice Toolkit'—using pitch, pace, pause, and body language to ensure your narrative actually lands. If you are looking to connect deeply rather than just perform, you are in the right place.
My Approach to Storytelling
I have spent 45 years observing that the letters used to spell LISTEN and SILENT are the same. This is where my workshops begin. I do not teach you to be a stage performer. I teach you to listen—to tales, to the people around you, and most importantly, to your own voice. My process combines the ancient art of oral narrative with modern techniques in body movement and expressive language.
What Happens in My Masterclasses
When you join an intensive course or a masterclass, we move beyond just words. We look at the 'Kathalaya Story Structure,' a framework I have developed to help you organize thoughts into compelling narratives. We cover:
- Voice Toolkit: Training on pitch, projection, and the power of silence.
- Body Dynamics: Using movement to express what words cannot.
- Narrative Design: Converting data or personal experiences into relatable stories.
Upcoming Opportunities
I conduct sessions in Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, and Mumbai, and offer certified courses online. Whether you are a corporate executive in a boardroom, a teacher looking to integrate narrative into your curriculum, or a parent wanting to bond with your child, my sessions are designed to give you practical, usable skills rather than theoretical knowledge.
My workshops are intentionally kept small—often capped at 15 to 60 participants—to ensure I can provide personal feedback on your voice modulation and storytelling style. If you want to discuss a customized session for your school or corporate team, we always start with a pre-workshop consultation to align the content with your specific needs.
