Practical Teacher Training & Storytelling Workshops
I skip the long-winded theory to focus on hands-on strategies that actually work in your classroom or at home.

About Featured
These sessions are not lectures where you just sit and watch. Whether it is The Puppet Lab or my multiple intelligence training, expect to get your hands busy, try new techniques, and walk away with tools you can use the very next day. Just a heads up: for in-person Puppet Lab workshops, please bring your own stationery basics like scissors, a stapler, and glue. We will be building ten different types of puppets in a single five-hour session, so come ready for a bit of a productive, creative mess.
Why Hands-On Matters
I believe the best way to learn is by doing. After 15 years in education, I have found that teachers and parents get the most value when they can physically practice a technique before applying it. My workshops are built on this principle, moving away from textbooks to active learning.
The Puppet Lab
This is my most popular format for a reason. You don’t just watch a storytelling demonstration; you build the tools to do it yourself. In this five-hour deep dive, we cover:
- Puppet Construction: Making 10 different types of puppets, from sock to finger puppets.
- Voice Modulation: How to change your pacing and tone to keep children captivated.
- Special Needs Adaptation: Using puppets to engage children with different learning requirements.
This is intense, practical, and highly interactive. You leave with a full kit of puppets and the confidence to use them.
Multiple Intelligences in the Classroom
Based on Howard Gardner’s theory, this session is for those who want to reach every student, not just the ones who learn by listening. We look at:
- Kinesthetic Learning: Activities that get children moving.
- Identifying Strengths: How to spot what each child naturally excels at.
- Non-Lecture Pedagogy: Energizers and role-playing games that actually engage a classroom.
Practical Logistics
Because I prepare individual materials for every participant, I require prior registration for all sessions. This allows me to ensure everyone has what they need to succeed from the moment we start. Whether you are a preschool teacher in Bangalore or a parent looking for better bonding activities, my aim is to give you skills, not just theory. If you are ready to learn, let’s get started.
