Taekwondo Training at Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium

When you step into our training hall at Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, expect sweat, grit, and 25mm EVA interlocking mats designed for safety during throws and falls. We share space, training gear like agility hurdles and paddles, and one singular focus: consistent effort. This is not a luxury gym, but it is the place where our national-level fighters build the stamina and discipline needed to win.

Training at the Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium provides our students with a professional sports atmosphere that you just cannot replicate in a local community center. The space is vast, the energy is competitive, and every session is fueled by the success of the athletes training around you.

The Setup

We keep things real because championship-level training requires focus, not frills.

• Flooring: We use 25mm EVA interlocking puzzle mats. These provide the impact absorption needed for high-intensity Kyorugi (sparring) and complex falls.
• Equipment: Access to shared academy gear, including plastic agility hurdles for footwork, training cones, and handheld kicking paddles for precision practice.
• Atmosphere: This is a non-AC facility. Be prepared to sweat. We follow the 'push up maadbeku' (must do pushups) rule because resilience is built when you are tired and still pushing through.

Who Trains Here?

Our sessions at Kanteerava are open to everyone. Whether you are a complete beginner joining our Foundation track or a serious athlete pushing for the Nationals in our Elite Competition program, you will be on the same mats as the rest of Team KTA. This integration is intentional. We want our beginners to see what excellence looks like, and we want our veterans to stay grounded by supporting the newer fighters.
