Fighting for the Rights of Delhi's Community Dogs
We aren't just feeding strays; we're fighting for their existence. From police complaints to legal battles, we stand against cruelty so our community dogs can live with dignity on their own streets.
This is the MCD gundagardi we fight against. We documented this confrontation after their employees illegally picked up four month old pups for sterilization. We involved the police and ensured the pups were safely released back to their territory.
We exposed this MCD vehicle, overloaded with dogs in cruel conditions and without any proper tags or documentation. This is the inhumane reality of government run ABC programs that we are fighting to change.
The conditions inside a government sterilization center. We found this dog locked in a cage without clean water, clearly unfit for surgery. We will not send our community dogs to suffer in such places.
A volunteer speaking at our protest, explaining why we need to use scientific logic and unite as a community. We must outnumber the haters with compassion and facts, not violence.
Our founder in an interview with Crime Tak, discussing the legal aspects of the Supreme Court's orders on stray dogs. We are actively involved in policy and legal advocacy to protect these animals.
A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers, lawyers, and supporters who joined our fight from India Gate to Jantar Mantar. This is a collective effort, and we are grateful for everyone who stands with us.
About The Fight for Their Rights
When we say we fight, we mean it. We have spent hours at police stations to get puppies released from illegal captivity and have gone to court to hold authorities accountable for cruelty. If you witness abuse or illegal handling of community dogs in your locality, we provide the legal backbone and on-ground support to fight back.
Our mission is simple: hold the bullies accountable. Whether it is an RWA harassing feeders, police refusing to file an FIR against animal abusers, or MCD vehicles picking up dogs illegally, we are the ones showing up to document the injustice.
We operate on the ground in Delhi NCR with a clear focus on evidence-based activism. We don't just post about the problem; we record it, file the necessary legal complaints, and ensure that those who inflict pain on voiceless animals face the consequences. This is not just about sympathy; it is about law and rights.
We use a scientific approach to address population management and rabies prevention, pushing back against the fear-mongering and misinformation often spread by those who want to see our community dogs removed. When you join our movement, you are supporting a network of feeders, lawyers, and volunteers who are tired of the status quo. We are building a system where cruelty is met with immediate, organized action, not just silent resentment. If you are ready to stop watching and start acting, reach out to us.
