About this collection
Spiti is an expedition, not just a photo session. Because of the altitude and the terrain, we don't work by the clock. We chase the light across 3 or 4 days, blending high-fashion outfits with the raw, barren beauty of the high-altitude desert to create visuals you won't get anywhere else.
When you plan a shoot in Spiti, you are committing to the journey. We spend 3 to 4 days navigating from Shimla or Manali to locations like Key Monastery, Kibber, and the banks of Chandratal Lake.
Why shoot in Spiti?
The light here is different. At these altitudes, the air is thin and crisp, making colors pop in a way that feels almost cinematic. I use my Nikon Z9 to capture the scale of the mountains against the intimacy of your connection. We might be shooting near a winding road at Chicham Bridge one hour and a calm, quiet monastery the next.
The logistics of the trip
This is a professional expedition. Because of the travel involved, this package is designed for couples who want to invest time into the process. We start early to catch the sunrise and often shoot until the golden hour hits the peaks. You will need to handle the travel and stay for the team, which allows us to focus entirely on the photography. If you are looking for a standard one-day shoot, my Shimla or forest packages might be a better fit, but if you want that rugged, epic, 'middle of nowhere' aesthetic, Spiti is where we need to be.
