How We Film Your Story

When we plan your pre-wedding film, the goal is to keep it real. No stiff poses or forced acting. Whether we are shooting in the dense deodar forests of Shimla or the rugged terrains of Spiti Valley, my approach is to capture the flow of your day as it happens.

The Process

We start with a conversation about what your relationship feels like. Is it playful and energetic? Quiet and intense? We use this to decide on the locations and the narrative flow. For locations, I lean into the geography—I use the sweeping scale of high-altitude cliffs for cinematic drone shots, and the intimate, filtered light of the forest for close-up portraits.

Technical Details

I shoot on Nikon Z-series mirrorless cameras, which are fantastic for low-light situations like twilight proposals or sunset silhouettes. Our cinematic packages include a 3-person team, so while I am focusing on the lead photography and candid stills, my cinematographer is working alongside to get those smooth, stable gimbal shots and tracking clips.

Deliverables

Every film is a 3 to 4-minute highlight reel, edited to match the mood of the music and the day. You also get a 1-minute teaser perfect for social media, so you have something to share immediately after the shoot. We prioritize raw, honest storytelling over flashy transitions, ensuring your film remains a timeless look at who you are today.
