Tulunadu Cultural Wall Murals
I bring the vibrant spirit of Kudla to life on your walls. From the intensity of Kambala to the grace of Yakshagana, I paint our traditions to create a powerful statement in your home or office.
A section of the large-scale mural for an IT company, focusing on the fiery depiction of a Kola performance and a traditional fishing boat scene. The warm color palette of reds and yellows brings energy and warmth to the office interior.
Another view of the IT company mural, this time showing a Yakshagana performance on stage and a lively depiction of the Pilivesha (tiger dance). This artwork serves as a cultural anchor within a corporate environment.
A close-up detail of the Pilivesha dancers from the office mural. You can see the dynamic poses and expressions of the performers and the audience, capturing the excitement of this traditional Mangalorean street performance.
This video shows the creation of the Tulunadu mural from start to finish. It highlights the teamwork involved, the initial sketching, and the detailed brushwork used to paint figures like the fishermen and tiger dancers.
This mural for a realty office blends modern city life with Mangalore's rich heritage. It shows the journey from the coast and cityscapes to traditional scenes of worship and folk art, telling a complete story on a single wall.
See the process behind the Mangalore-themed mural, from the first pencil outlines on the blank wall to the careful blocking of colors. This time-lapse shows how detailed scenes, like the Kambala race, are meticulously brought to life.
About Tulunadu Cultural Murals
I do not use stencils or pre-made prints, so every line is hand-drawn directly onto your wall. This freehand process allows me to adjust the scale of motifs like Pilivesha dancers or Yakshagana performers to fit your room's specific corners and lighting. You get a piece of art that feels perfectly placed, not just applied.
When I paint a Tulunadu mural, I am thinking about the pulse of our homeland. These designs are not just decoration, they are stories. A Yakshagana performance on your wall brings color and history, while a Kambala scene adds raw energy to an IT office, a cafe, or a feature wall in your living room.
My process is built around your space. We start with a digital mock-up, then I move to sketching directly on the surface. This lets me adapt the layout to the dimensions of your wall, ensuring the flow of the figures matches the room. I use a combination of high-pigment aerosol sprays for smooth backgrounds and precision brushes for the finer details of the costumes and expressions.
Durability is just as important as the design. Every cultural mural I complete is finished with a high-quality, UV-resistant varnish. This creates a barrier that protects the artwork from fading, peeling, or everyday wear and tear. You can expect these vibrant colors to stay crisp and bright for 3 to 5 years, even in high-traffic areas like a company lobby or a busy restaurant. If you want to see how we can bring a piece of Mangalore into your interior, send me a message.
