My Process
I use professional-grade Heavy Body Acrylics on fine-grain cotton duck canvas. You will notice that I avoid flat, printed looks. I use palette knives to build physical, 3D texture onto the surface. This technique allows the light to catch the paint differently as you move around the room, which is crucial for high-motion subjects like racing buffaloes.
Longevity
I am trained in art conservation, so my work is built to last. Every piece receives an isolation coat followed by a UV-protective Gloss or Satin varnish. This seals the pigments against dust and moisture, ensuring the vibrancy of the colors stays consistent for decades. If you are picking a piece for a large living room, I recommend the 3x3 ft signature sizes, as the heavy texture creates a focal point that holds up even from six feet away.
