Spiritual and Folk Art Paintings

I paint to bring peace and tradition into your home. Each canvas is a hand-painted piece of my own creative meditation.

This video shows the creation of an Adiyogi Shiva painting on a hexagonal canvas. I love how the simple black and blue silhouette stands out against the warm orange background.

A textured painting of Shiva, where I used a thick medium to create the flowing hair and serene facial features. The contrast between the calm blue face and the dynamic silver hair is what I love most.

A close-up of the Shiva texture painting, highlighting the golden accents on his face and the details of his closed eyes.

This video captures the journey of my Panjurli Daiva painting, inspired by the movie Kantara. It even shows my little son adding a few brushstrokes, a special moment for me.

Here are two versions of my Panjurli Daiva painting, one large and one small. Both are created on canvas with vibrant colors to capture the energy of the deity.

This is a dot mandala art piece featuring Nataraja, the dancing form of Shiva. The process of creating the thousands of tiny dots felt like a form of meditation.

About this collection

When I paint figures like Adiyogi or Panjurli, I do not just use flat colors. I use a heavy impasto technique to build up layers on the canvas. This creates actual texture that catches the light differently depending on where it hangs in your room, giving the image a living, breathing quality.

My work is deeply rooted in the traditions that move me. Whether it is the powerful gaze of Panjurli or the meditative grace of Nataraja, I approach each canvas as a piece of devotional work. I primarily use professional grade acrylics on stretched canvas, often incorporating texture paste to add depth to features like Shiva's flowing hair or the snowy mountains in my landscape series. For my dot mandala pieces, I use a precise, repetitive technique that takes hours to complete; it is as much a prayer as it is an art project for me.

I love working on custom commissions for homes across Bangalore and India. If you have a specific deity in mind or a scene from nature that brings you peace, share your idea with me. I can adapt these themes to different sizes or color palettes to suit your interior space. Because every piece is hand-painted in my studio, no two are exactly the same. You are getting a work of art that carries my focus and energy, not a machine-made print.
