Event Curation and DJ Lineup Programming
I don't just show up to play; I build the vibe from the ground up. Whether it’s a London basement or a Delhi club, I curate lineups and sonic identities that actually connect with the room.
The flyer for a Casa Bacardi experience I played in Mumbai. My role often involves curating a specific sound, in this case, a set loaded with afrobeats and Caribbean flavours for a tropical summer party.
My artist flyer for the Casa Bacardi event. This shows how I fit into a larger curated experience, bringing my specific 'Sound of Rum' to the night.
The poster for a crucial collaboration between my crew NDCR and DNCR from Vietnam. I love curating these cross-cultural lineups that bring different scenes and sounds together.
The flyer for 'Loose Threads', a back-to-back session I curated. The event focused on a specific sound palette of Afrobeats, Deep House, and UKG, creating a cohesive musical journey.
The poster for 'Gun Fingers Only' in Mumbai. I helped shape this night to be all about dubs and bass-heavy sounds, curating a lineup of artists who specialize in that UK-inspired vibe.
The flyer for 'Funky Monkey Sessions'. For this event, I curated a groovy, funky set to match the theme, showing my versatility in adapting to different party concepts.
The poster for 'Rumble' at Saz, a massive back-to-back event. Curating these kinds of nights involves carefully pairing DJs to create exciting and unpredictable sets.
The promo video for the Taal Debut Party in London. As a curator, I helped define the sound for the night, focusing on percussive rhythms like baile funk, amapiano, and afrobeats.
The official lineup poster for the Taal Debut Party. Curating this involved bringing in an international headliner and stacking the lineup with London's best talent to create a massive buzz.
The flyer for a 'Midweek Riddim' event. I was brought in to provide my signature South-Asian flair, blending genres to create a unique sonic journey for a Thursday night party.
About Curated Events & Lineups
Most events fall into the trap of just stacking popular names, but that doesn't make for a good party. When I curate, I look at the flow of the night—how a 90-minute headline set transitions from support acts and how the energy shifts from the first track to the peak hour. I manage the roster, coordinate the sonic journey, and ensure the booth setup handles the heavy basslines we’re bringing.
When you’re organizing an event, the music is the heartbeat. If the lineup is disjointed, the energy stays flat. My approach to event curation is about building a cohesive narrative. It is not just about booking talent; it is about aligning the sound with the venue’s specific vibe, whether that is a sweaty underground club in Hackney or a high-energy rooftop in Cyberhub.
The Sonic Identity Approach
I do not just drop a playlist. I work with venues and event managers to define the sound of the night. If we are doing a South Asian fusion party, I look for artists who can flip Bollywood classics into UK Garage or Amapiano without it feeling like a gimmick. It is about that specific Desi-diaspora energy.
Technical Curation and Lineups
Many organisers overlook the technical side of the lineup. I manage the roster to ensure the support acts build up toward the headliner rather than clashing with them. I also handle the rider coordination, making sure the audio engineers know exactly what to do when we drop the heavy basslines or gqom rhythms.
From London to Delhi
I bridge the gap between scenes. I have built nights that mix local talent with international guests, bringing that London bass culture to the Indian circuit and vice versa. It is about creating a space where the crowd feels comfortable but challenged by new, obscure sounds. If you want an event that feels less like a corporate show and more like a proper rave, we should talk.
