How to Order My Handmade Soaps
Curious about getting your hands on my soaps? Here is everything you need to know about placing an order, my custom soap process, and the curing time required for my cold process bars.
A simple list of the cold process soaps I currently offer, including Aloe Vera Charcoal and Unicorn soap. For new customers, you can order a minimum of 5 soaps to try them out.
About How to Order
If you are new to my work, I recommend starting with a 5-soap sampler. This lets you test a variety of my cold process blends—like Aloe Vera Charcoal or Multani Mitti Avocado—to see what feels best on your skin before you place a larger order.
Placing Your Order
I run Kailash Skin Care as a one-woman show, so I give every order my full attention. Whether you are looking for a few bars for your daily routine or a bulk order for gifting, please send me a message with your requirements.
The Curing Process
My cold process soaps are not made in a rush. I believe in the traditional method, which means I mix natural oils, butters, and lye, and then let the bars cure for 30 to 40 days. This waiting period is non-negotiable because it ensures the soap is hard, long-lasting, and gentle on your skin. If you order a soap that is currently in the curing stage, it will be well worth the wait when it arrives.
Customization Options
Do you have sensitive skin or a specific need? I can whip up custom soap bars just for you. We can discuss your skin concerns and I will select the right clays, essential oils, and plant-based butters to create a batch that works for you. These custom batches require a bit more planning, so please reach out early.
Shipping and Quantities
- Standard Orders: For ready-stock items like my glycerin-based fruit soaps, I can typically ship within 2 to 3 days.
- Bulk Orders: If you are ordering for events or gifts, please contact me at least 1 to 2 weeks in advance so I can ensure everything is crafted and packed with care.
- Minimums: My standard minimum order is 10 soaps, but as mentioned, I am happy to provide a 5-soap sampler for first-time customers.
