Natural Handmade Soaps for Gentle Skincare
I make these soaps the old-fashioned way—cold-processed, cured for weeks, and packed with ingredients like shea butter and clay instead of harsh chemicals.
Like a warm hug for your skin, my Honey Oatmeal soap is made with raw honey and oats to calm, hydrate, and protect. It's unscented and gentle enough for sensitive skin and children.
A close-up of my Charcoal Orange artisanal soap bars. You can see the real orange peel embedded in the soap, which provides gentle exfoliation, while activated charcoal purifies the skin.
My Rose Pink Clay soap is perfect for sensitive to normal skin. The French pink clay gently cleanses and balances, helping to reduce dullness and reveal a natural glow.
The finishing touch on my Rose Pink Clay cold-process soap. I sprinkle dried rose petals on top of the freshly poured soap log before it's cut and cured, adding a touch of natural beauty.
This is how my soap bars are born. Watch as I use a wire cutter to slice a large, cured log of cold-process soap into individual bars, ready for their final weeks of drying.
A refreshing bar of Eucalyptus & Mint soap, perfect for a cooling summer shower. The essential oils help clear congestion and leave your skin feeling tingly clean.
Nature's purifier in a bar. My Neem Artisanal Soap is naturally antibacterial and antifungal, making it ideal for irritated or acne-prone skin.
Fuller's Magic, my Multani Mitti soap, is an ancient skin remedy. It's fantastic for oily and combination skin, as it naturally tackles excess oil, acne, and grime.
Experience a spa day at home with my Himalayan Pink Salt soap. It's rich in minerals to help restore balance, soothe irritation, and gently exfoliate for improved skin texture.
Bold and balanced. The Activated Charcoal in this soap provides a deep cleanse for oily skin, while the scent of orange essential oil uplifts your senses.
About Natural Artisanal Soaps
I make these soaps the old-fashioned way—cold-processed, cured for weeks, and packed with ingredients like shea butter and clay instead of harsh chemicals. This slow process isn't just about the look. Because each bar sits on my drying rack for four to six weeks, the natural oils like olive and coconut have time to fully saponify, resulting in a gentle, long-lasting bar that does not strip your skin of its natural moisture.
What you see in these photos is exactly what arrives in your box. I skip the industrial factory shortcuts and focus on raw ingredients that actually help your skin.
Why Cold-Process?
When I say these bars are cured for weeks, I mean it. This is not a fast melt-and-pour process. The cold-process method preserves the nutrients in my essential oils and butters, which would otherwise be lost at high temperatures.
Ingredients I Actually Use:
- Fuller's Earth (Multani Mitti): Great for oily skin, it pulls out grime without leaving the skin feeling tight.
- Activated Charcoal & Orange: I use these for a deep clean. The charcoal detoxifies, and the orange peel provides a subtle, natural exfoliation.
- Honey & Oats: My go-to for anyone dealing with dry or sensitive patches. It is unscented and calming.
- Himalayan Pink Salt: This mineral-rich addition helps restore balance and gently polishes the skin.
People often ask why handmade bars cost more than the ones in the grocery aisle. It comes down to the quality of the base oils—olive, coconut, and castor—and the absence of synthetic foaming agents. You are paying for a bar that is clean, cruelty-free, and made by a person, not a machine.
Mandy & Co
I'm Aakriti, the one-woman show behind Mandy & Co. I mix, pour, and pack every bar myself because I wanted skincare that feels like art, not mass-produced factory goods.
