On Set Training for TV and Commercials
Getting your dog ready for the camera takes more than just basic obedience. We prepare pets for the fast-paced energy of film sets and studio lights in Bengaluru.
This is a promotional video for the Kannada television serial 'Avanu Matte Shravani' on Star Suvarna, where our Simba Jr. played an important character. We train dogs to handle the fast-paced environment of TV production.
Our Golden Retriever, Gomz, was the star of this advertisement for Supertails. We train dogs for commercial shoots, ensuring they can perform specific actions on cue to meet the director's vision.
This is Honey, a champion Labrador from our academy. She was a show champion and also played the lead role in a short film for the Bangalore Traffic Police to promote public safety.

About this collection
The biggest challenge on any film set is not the acting but handling the chaos of bright lights, boom mics, and constant direction. We focus on desensitization first, making sure your dog sees a camera lens or a reflector not as a threat, but as part of their normal environment.
Sets are unpredictable. Actors come and go, technicians move cameras, and schedules shift without warning. Unlike basic obedience, media training requires your dog to execute commands from a distance and hold their focus even when the director yells cut. We teach silent hand signals and distance controls, ensuring your pet can perform from 20 feet away without hearing a word from you.
Our course covers the technical side of the industry. We work on mark training, teaching your dog to hit a specific spot on the floor and stay there until released. We also handle equipment desensitization. Reflector boards, boom microphones, and bright studio lights can be scary for a dog. We systematically introduce these elements in a controlled way so your dog stays cool under pressure.
It is not just about the tricks. Rapid bonding is a major part of the curriculum. We train your dog to appear comfortable with stranger actors within 15 minutes of meeting, which is often a requirement for shorter shoots. We also cover impulse control, so your dog learns to ignore treats or toys on set until the scene requires interaction. Whether it is a quick appearance in a serial like 'Avanu Matte Shravani' or a full-day commercial shoot, we ensure your dog is prepped for the demands of the camera. If you are serious about entering this field, we also provide portfolio advice to help you understand what casting directors are looking for.
