About Guilt-Free Mithai & Bites
My signature Mud Bites might surprise you. I use a sweet potato base to get that dense, fudgy texture without any maida or refined sugar. It takes a little extra effort in the kitchen to balance the natural sweetness, but that first bite is pure comfort that feels good in your body.
When I started Justbe, my goal was to break the myth that vegan food is just leaves. I wanted the same mummy ke haath ka khana, or mom's cooking, comfort but with ingredients that nourish rather than weigh you down. Every sweet and snack here is 100% plant-based, oil-free, and refined sugar-free.
I craft these treats to bridge the gap between indulgence and health. My Mud Bites, for instance, rely on sweet potato for that rich, fudgy bite, while my Chocorons use almond and cashew butter for creaminess without the dairy. For those craving traditional mithai, I prepare my Carrot Halwa and Coconut Barfi using only dates or jaggery for sweetness. These are not mass-produced items. They are slow-made, whole-food snacks that provide actual energy rather than a sugar crash.
