Bold & Beautiful Bathroom Designs

Bathrooms are often the most overlooked rooms in a home, but they hold so much potential. I love helping homeowners move away from builder-standard finishes to create personal, spa-like retreats that actually match the rest of your home.

This powder room features one of my favorite custom design elements: a solid wood vanity with spindle legs and an arched scallop detail. It creates an immediate wow-moment and perfectly captures the home's Modern Spanish state of mind.

A closer view of the custom-stained solid wood vanity in the powder room. The rich wood grain and intricate detailing stand out against the soft, textured wallpaper, creating a sophisticated and memorable small space.

This master bathroom from the 'Breeze Home' packs a big design punch. I love the juxtaposition of the classic herringbone wall tile against the bold black and white pattern on the floor. The custom teal vanity adds an extra pop of color and personality.

Another angle of the 'Breeze Home' master bathroom, showing the floating teal vanity with its open shelf at the base. The tall, narrow mirror and vertical wall sconces accentuate the room's height, making the space feel larger.

This guest bathroom combines warm, rustic tones with a classic checkerboard floor pattern. I designed the vanity with beaded details on the fronts for a vintage touch. The vertically striped wall tiles add height and an interesting wallpaper-like effect.

This moody bathroom was designed to feel like a luxe powder room while still being fully functional. The high-drama stacked black tiles are the perfect backdrop for the leather-strapped round mirror and the custom teal vanity with slatted details.

This master bathroom was transformed from a basic builder's bath into a statement space. The star of the show is the gorgeous patterned cement tile backsplash, paired with a light wood vanity, a modern hexagonal mirror, and a chic glass pendant light.

About this collection

When I approach a bathroom redesign, I don't just look at the floor plan; I look at the vanity as the anchor. I hand-design these to include specific features like scalloped wood edges, slatted doors, or custom open shelving that builder-standard units simply miss. It is these small, custom-built moments that stop a space from feeling like a generic washroom.

I believe that a bathroom should do more than just function. Whether it is a tiny powder room or a full master suite, I focus on the design elements that transform these spaces from utilitarian to restorative. In my work, this means blending bold, patterned cement tiles with custom-built cabinetry—like the teal vanities or solid wood scallop designs I’ve crafted for my recent Bengaluru projects.

When we gut a space, we are not just changing tiles. We look at the plumbing, waterproofing, and the structural layout. I often knock down walls to create better flow or install architectural arches to bring in that Modern Spanish charm I love. If you are working with a small footprint, I prioritize vertical storage, thoughtful mirror placement, and layered lighting to make the room feel larger and more welcoming.

I am a huge fan of mixing materials. You might find me pairing herringbone wall tiles with classic checkerboard floors, or juxtaposing rustic, warm wood vanities with matte black fixtures. It is about creating a texture-rich environment that feels calm, not cluttered. If your current bathroom feels like a builder’s basic, let’s talk about how we can pull the personality out of it.
