We turn tricky nooks and everyday utility areas into organized, beautiful parts of your home. Whether it is a compact office or a custom linen closet, we design for the life you live.

This small nook was transformed into a moody and functional home office. I added see-through glass and black metal doors for privacy without closing off the space. The deep blue walls and oversized artwork create a cool, inspiring backdrop for video calls.

Even in-between spaces like hallways deserve attention. On the first floor of the Modern Spanish Home, the custom black iron railing continues, complemented by a colorful runner rug and a large potted palm that adds life and vertical interest.

A quiet corner of a bedroom is transformed into a simple and elegant study nook. The dark, carved-leg desk is paired with a classic rattan and wood chair, creating a perfect spot for writing or reflection by the window.

This home office setup was tucked into a corner of the master bedroom. I created a floating desk from the client's old table and set it against a fluted wood accent wall. The result is a seamless and stylish workspace that blends right in.

Details on the floating desk, including a modern vase and a rustic picture frame. It's these small touches that make a functional space feel personal and inspiring.

This project involved a full gut remodel of a maid's room and bathroom to create a super functional laundry and storage area. This space now serves as a linen closet with floor-to-ceiling cabinetry and a countertop for folding laundry.

The former bathroom was transformed into a compact laundry room with a stacked washer and dryer. I also designed a ventilated broom closet, making this a highly efficient and organized utility space.

About Smart Spaces: Offices, Closets & Entryways

When we design workspaces or utility areas, we look for ways to make them blend into your home rather than stand apart. For instance, we often take existing furniture pieces you love and repurpose them—like converting an old desk into a custom floating wall unit to save floor space—or use glass partitions with black metal frames to add privacy to a home office without blocking the flow of natural light.
