Custom Father & Son Twinning Outfits in Mumbai
Matching outfits for your little man and you. From festivals to weddings, I design custom sets that fit perfectly and look sharp.
I am a tailor for all generations, from the 80s and 90s to Gen Z. It's a special honor to dress fathers and their sons, continuing a legacy of style within families.
From a gentleman getting fitted for his shirt to a young boy in his first custom kurta, I am proud to be the tailor for men of all ages.
A father and son came in together for a trial of their matching kurta sets. It's a special moment, and I make sure both their outfits fit perfectly for the occasion.
About this collection
When you get matching sets with me, I do not just cut the cloth twice. I cut from the same bolt to guarantee an exact color match, but I tailor the kid version differently. I add soft lining to prevent itching and leave a couple of inches of internal margin so he can actually grow into the outfit.
Getting matching outfits for a father and son is more than just picking the same color. It requires understanding two different comfort levels. My goal is to make sure the father looks sharp and the son is comfortable enough to run around and enjoy the event.
The Process
We start with a consultation at my shop in Mulund. We pick the fabric, buttons, and design. Because I cut the adult and child outfits from the same bolt, the match is identical. I handle all the measurements personally to ensure that the adult outfit has that clean, structured look while the child’s outfit gets the extra room needed for growth.
Why Custom Matters
Ready-made twinning sets often compromise on one side. Either the father gets a bad fit, or the child finds the material stiff and itchy. I use premium Giza cotton or Linen for better breathability. For the kids, I make sure the internal stitching is smooth and the lining is soft against their skin.
Tips for a Great Fit
- Plan Early: For matching sets, I recommend coming in at least 10 days before your event. This gives us enough time for a trial fitting to get the sizing just right.
- Keep it Classic: Simple Kurta-Pajama sets or Nehru jackets are the most versatile for family functions. They look great in photos and are easy for kids to wear all day.
- Coordinate, Don't Compete: You do not always need identical colors. Sometimes, complementing the father's outfit with a similar fabric texture or button style for the child looks more sophisticated.
