I do not believe in forcing siblings into carbon-copy outfits that they hate wearing. My approach is to coordinate through common colors, matching fabric prints, or complementary cuts so they look like a pair without feeling like they are wearing uniforms. Whether one wants a skirt and the other a kurta, we balance the style so everyone is happy and comfortable.
Twinning does not have to mean identical. When I design sibling sets, the biggest challenge is always the I-don-t-want-to-wear-that moment.
