Mumbai Skyline Photography & Cityscapes
I document Mumbai's changing mood, from sunrise haze over the Sea Link to the electric glow of the city at night. Using drone aerials and long-exposure techniques, I capture the scale and energy of the urban skyline.

About Mumbai Skylines: Day to Night
I treat Mumbai's changing atmosphere as a core part of the composition, whether it is the clear light after a monsoon or the thick winter smog that defines the city's seasonal look. I work with a DJI Mavic Mini for wide aerial panoramas and a Nikon D5600 for sharp ground details, aiming to capture the city's scale without relying on artificial saturation.
My Technical Approach
My process focuses on light, timing, and perspective. I specialize in Golden Hour and Blue Hour photography, where the natural ambient light interacts with the city's architecture to create depth.
Aerial & Ground Integration
I combine drone photography with ground-level shooting. The drone provides the context, showing the density of the buildings and the flow of traffic, while my handheld camera captures the textures of the streets and the human element within the skyline.
Weather & Light
Mumbai's skyline changes drastically with the weather. I have spent years photographing the Bandra-Worli Sea Link and high-rise clusters in areas like Worli and Dadar during different conditions. If you are looking for that specific post-monsoon clarity or a dramatic smog-filled aesthetic, I know when and where to set up.
Editing Philosophy
I use Lightroom and Photoshop to correct color and balance the exposure between the bright sky and the dark urban landscape. My goal is to make the image feel natural while bringing out the moody, electric quality that makes Mumbai recognizable at night.
Logistics
I am based in Mumbai and available for site visits across the metropolitan area. If you have a specific property or project in mind, I can scout the location beforehand to determine the best drone flight paths and shooting times.
Jdopat
I chase the vibe, not just the shot. My work takes me from the hazy mornings to the electric neon nights, documenting the skyline as it evolves. I look for the specific light that makes a high-rise look alive.
