I do not just point and shoot. I look for the stories hiding in the light, the frames within frames, and the moments that make our city pulse. Here is how I see Mumbai.

A creative sunset shot where the sun perfectly aligns with the filament of a lightbulb placed in the sand. It’s a fun illusion that makes it look like the sun is powering the bulb.

I love finding new perspectives. Here, I used a pair of sunglasses to frame the setting sun, creating a unique reflection and a photo within a photo.

Another one of my creative sunset experiments. By placing a candle in a glass jar, I aligned it with the setting sun to make it seem as if the sun is the candle's flame.

Using a long exposure technique, I smoothed out the waves to create this magical, misty effect on the water. The purple and pink hues of the twilight sky give it an aurora-like vibe.

A slightly different composition of the long exposure beach scene, this shot captures the vibrant purple sky and the calm, ethereal quality of the water at dusk.

This wide-angle view of the purple sunset highlights the rock formations and the small pool of water in the foreground, adding layers to the beautiful landscape.

Playing with frames within the frame. I used a physical frame to silhouette a person against the dramatic sunset on the beach, creating a focused and artistic composition.

A beautiful silhouette of a woman on a surfboard against a pastel sunset. This shot uses negative space to create a sense of peace, freedom, and elegance.

The simple joy of a child riding a scooter on the beach at dusk. The vastness of the sea and sky creates a beautiful sense of scale and freedom.

Two friends sitting on the sand, watching a spectacular sunset together. It’s a quiet, contemplative moment that captures the beauty of both nature and friendship.

About Mumbai Through My Lens

People often ask me how I get these shots, and the answer is usually just patience and a slightly weird angle. I love playing with perspective, whether I am using water droplets, old sunglasses, or physical frames to change how we see a simple sunset. It is not about having the heaviest studio gear. It is about training your eye to find that specific, magical 'click' in the chaos of our city.
