About Behind the Scenes: My Process & Mini Vlogs
When you see my mini vlogs, you are seeing the real deal. Whether it's a humid Mumbai afternoon with no AC or a frantic dash between two locations, I work to deliver an 80% sweat-proof guarantee. I don't just do makeup; I fix maang tikkas with tape, handle watery eyes, and make sure you look pretty and gorgeous, no matter the challenges behind the scenes.
Being a makeup artist in Mumbai isn't always glitz and glamour. It's often about bike rides to Mumbra, train journeys, and finding ways to set up in rooms without AC. My mini vlogs show you exactly what to expect when you book me.
The Reality of My Process
I believe in full transparency. When you see a bride, you don't just see the final glow; you see the work that went into it. I document the entire process—the skin prep, the hair challenges, and even the moments where we deal with frizzy hair or heavy jewelry that refuses to stay put. My goal is to make sure you are comfortable and happy, even when the environment is far from perfect.
Important Tips for My Brides
Since I'm honest about what works and what doesn't, here are three things that make a huge difference in your final look:
- Facial Hair: Please remove your facial hair before I arrive. It is the secret to a flawless, non-patchy base. I can only do so much; the rest depends on your skin prep.
- Hair Hygiene: Avoid oiling your hair right before your event. If your hair is oily, I cannot create the volume or the curls you want.
- Timing: Be showered, fed, and ready for me when I arrive. It keeps the energy chill and gives us more time for the finer details like your eye makeup.
Whether you are looking for a Nikkah glam, a soft Walima look, or something for your engagement, you get the same dedication. My work isn't finished until you look in the mirror, smile, and say Masha'allah. If you like the way I solve problems in my vlogs, you'll love how I handle your big day.
