I’m Iqra, the face behind Iqramakeovers. I’m a bridal makeup artist from Mumbai, but I’ll pack my kit and come wherever my bride needs me. For me, every face is a new canvas and every wedding, a new story.

How I Work With You

We’ll kick things off with a chat. I’ll ask, "Kaisa makeup chahiye?" so I know exactly what you want. We’ll talk outfits, ceremonies, the vibe you want - whether it’s full-on glam or a soft wedding day look. I’m here to listen, especially if you’ve had a bad experience before. I want you comfy and happy through it all.

Whether it’s Nikkah, Walima, Engagement, or something totally unique, I tailor every detail. I do bold eyes and red lips for classic brides, soft glowing makeup for Walima, and I can give you a royal Rajasthani or Pakistani bridal style. Hijabi brides, I’ve got you covered with makeup and styling that works with your hijab.

My Approach

Before anything, I always say, "Ek cheez main hamesha kehti hoon" – your base matters most. I prep your skin (CTM is a must) for long-lasting bridal makeup. I recommend facial hair removal for the smoothest finish. For hair, I can do everything - buns with gajra, braids with flowers, or open curls. We’ll figure out what suits you best.

Insider Tips

• Be showered, fed, and done with prayers when I arrive - it keeps things chill.
• If you’re wearing heavy jewelry like a nath, practice ahead so it doesn’t hurt.
• Maang tikka slipping? Don’t stress. I have tricks for that (double-sided tape, desi jugaad!) so everything stays put.
