About The Artist at Work: Behind the Scenes
Makeup is rarely as glamorous as the final photo suggests. It involves early hours, careful skin analysis, and the intense focus required to ensure every layer is perfectly blended. These behind-the-scenes moments show exactly how I work: focusing on the small details, correcting every line, and making sure you feel comfortable while I handle the craft.
Whether I am at my Goregaon studio or on location for a wedding, my approach remains the same. My fundamental mantra is simple: line dikhni nahi chahiye. This means continuous, seamless blending until the makeup feels like part of your skin rather than a layer on top.
Behind the scenes, you will see a lot of discipline. I don't just apply products. I start with a deep skin analysis, identifying whether the base needs to be matte for a long function or dewy for that signature glass skin glow. I manage everything from the color correction of pigmentation to the precise placement of lashes and the final setting of the dupatta.
I treat these sessions as a collaborative process. If you see me fixing a lip line or adjusting a blush tone, it is because precision is the only way to achieve a professional finish that lasts through hours of ceremony and photography.
