Every function in a wedding needs its own feel.
- Haldi, Mehendi: Playful messy braids and open curls, maybe with butterfly or floral clips. Something thoda hatke (a bit different) and fun.
- Sangeet, Cocktail: Voluminous waves, half-up styles with a bit of shimmer, or a textured ponytail that won’t budge when you hit the dance floor.
- Wedding Day: I do a lot of traditional bridal updos, like classic buns with jewellery and dupatta, or detailed woven styles.
- Reception: Modern, elegant wedding reception hairstyles - soft waves, glam curls, or sleek ponytails.
My Go-To Looks
I’m obsessed with floral buns, especially when I get to decorate with fresh gajra, roses, lavender, or whatever matches your lehenga. Curls and waves are a constant favourite for that soft, romantic bridal look. For something unique, I love making a hair bow as part of a half-up bridal hairstyle - it’s cute but not OTT (over the top).

What a rollercoaster! Sometimes I pinch myself, especially when I’m fixing up Bollywood stars. Selfie with Shahid Kapoor? Yup, that happened. Ananya Pandey is a total sweetheart, and I called Aditya Roy Kapur and Arjun Kapoor ‘Cute Mundas’ at a Goa wedding, full filmy vibes. But honestly, every bride, every shoot, it’s all just as special. I’m grateful I get to play with hair and makeup and add a little sparkle to someone’s big day.
