I don't just judge based on who looks cool. When I am on the panel, I look for the foundation, the musicality, and that raw story. Whether it is a 1v1 or an all-styles battle, I look for consistency because that is exactly what I demanded from myself to take home these titles. From Competitor to Judge
My journey through the Indian hip-hop scene, from winning the BIG JAM 2023 1v1 Hip-Hop title to taking the 2v2 Rep Your Style crown, has been about more than trophies. It has been about testing my limits. I have spent years in cyphers and battles, constantly refining my style and studying the culture.
Why My Experience Matters for Your Event
When you bring me on as a judge, you aren't just getting a name. You are getting someone who understands the pressure of the final round.
- Technical Eye: I don't miss details. I check for beat-killing, texture, and musicality. If a dancer is off-beat, I notice.
- Battle Psychology: I know what it feels like to be in the middle of a high-stakes round. I can sense when a dancer is losing their cool and when they are truly in their element.
- Musicality Check: Because I am also a DJ, I listen to music differently. I judge how a dancer interacts with the layers of a track, not just the tempo.
My Judging Philosophy
I believe in the 'Rep Your Style' format because it forces dancers to be individual. My job is to ensure the competition is fair, the energy stays high, and the right dancers are recognized for their effort and authenticity. I don't just look for clean moves; I look for dancers who let their reason for dancing show on the floor. Whether you are hosting a local community jam or a large-scale hip-hop festival in Delhi NCR, I bring the experience of a competitor who knows how to spot true potential.
