Designing Tranquil Architectural Corners and Serene Spaces
We integrate architectural elements like indoor water features and lush green corners to bring nature and serenity into modern Bangalore homes.
I designed this tranquil indoor water feature to be a peaceful retreat. It includes a white marble Buddha statue set against a dark, textured stone waterfall, flanked by a lush vertical green wall that brings nature indoors.
A close-up of a beautifully arranged indoor garden corner. A serene Buddha statue is nestled among a variety of vibrant green and red foliage, creating a small pocket of tranquility and positive energy within the home.
About Architectural Elements & Tranquil Corners
Installing indoor water features requires precise structural planning, from waterproofing to preventing seepage, especially in apartment setups. We manage this by using high-grade stone cladding and integrated drainage solutions, like the work we executed for Mr. Srinivas Reddy in AECS Layout, ensuring these tranquil corners remain low-maintenance and structurally sound without damaging your existing flooring.
Creating Peace Through Architecture
At Ingenious Architects, we believe that an architectural element—whether it is a vertical garden, a water feature, or a quiet reading nook—should serve a purpose beyond aesthetics. It should change the mood of the space.
Technical Precision for Water Features
An indoor fountain or water wall, like the one we designed in AECS Layout, is not just about placing a statue. It involves a systematic approach to:
- Waterproofing: Applying multi-layer chemical treatments to prevent seepage.
- Circulation: Integrating hidden pumps for a continuous, silent flow.
- Lighting: Using focused spotlights to create the play of light and shadow we are known for.
Bringing Nature Indoors
For urban homes in neighborhoods like HSR Layout and Sarjapur, space is at a premium. We create green pockets that do not crowd the room. This includes:
- Vertical Greenery: Using artificial or hardy indoor plants against textured backdrops to reduce visual noise.
- Material Selection: Using natural stones—marble, granite, or slate—that age gracefully and handle moisture well.
- Seamless Integration: Blending these corners into existing layouts so they feel like an original part of the structure, not an afterthought.
Whether you want a spiritual corner or a minimalist relaxation zone, we ensure the structural integrity matches the aesthetic intent.
