About Awards & Accolades
Receiving the 'Varshada Mahile' award or being invited as a guest of honor at institutes for special needs is not just about the trophy for me. It is a sign that my puppets and I are making a real difference, whether it is through spreading simple smiles or raising awareness about road safety and public health. Knowing that my art can touch lives and connect with people beyond the stage is the greatest honor I have received.
My journey as a ventriloquist has always been about more than just entertainment. Growing up, I was fascinated by the art form, but I never imagined it would lead to stages where I would be recognized alongside such inspiring figures.
From the Karnataka Women Achievers' Award (KWAA) to being named 'Varshada Mahile' (Woman of the Year) by Vijayavani and Digvijaya News, every accolade serves as a gentle reminder to keep pushing boundaries. Whether I am performing in Bengaluru, across Karnataka, or in the USA, my goal remains the same: to keep the Kannada language and culture alive through clean, interactive puppet comedy.
Using Laughter for Good
One of the most rewarding aspects of my career is being able to use Dinku, Kokila Ajji, and Tata to discuss serious topics. I have dedicated segments in my shows to social messages like road safety, public health, and the importance of peace. Being invited to convocation ceremonies, such as at the Prakramika Vocational Institute, allowed me to witness the incredible spirit of students and changemakers firsthand.
If you are planning an event, whether it is a corporate milestone or a family gathering, I bring this same passion and professional commitment to every performance. I ensure the humor is clean, the engagement is high, and the experience is memorable for everyone from kids to grandparents.
