The best part of my job isn't the travel or the tech, it's the connection. Here are some of my favorite moments with the people who make it all worth it.

A standing ovation at the Navika 2025 event in Florida. This is the loudest and most beautiful 'thank you' an artist can ever receive. I am truly grateful for this moment.

A heartfelt video testimonial from an audience member at the Naadothsava music festival. She beautifully explains the magic of ventriloquism and the spontaneity of the art form.

Kokila Ajji loves interacting with the crowd. Here she is at Pyramid Valley, chatting with the audience, asking their names, and cracking jokes about their hometowns.

While exploring the Bhimbetka caves in Madhya Pradesh, my puppet Tata met a group of dentists. He couldn't resist cracking a few jokes about needing a new set of teeth.

Kokila Ajji meets a 'Kole Basava' (decorated bull) and its master on the street. She even gets her 'drishti' (evil eye) removed in this impromptu, traditional interaction.

Kokila Ajji having some fun with the Gichhi Gili Gili team during a bus journey. She even offers to remove the 'drishti' for one of the boys.

More 'drishti' removal on the bus. Kokila Ajji believes in protecting everyone from the evil eye, and her method is full of humor and blessings.

Kokila Ajji never misses a chance to interact, even on a moving bus. Here she is having a playful argument with a fellow passenger.

On the road to Chamarajanagar for a show. This video captures the journey and the excitement of taking Kokila Ajji to meet her fans.

The entire Gichhi Gili Gili team enjoying the bus ride to our show in Chamarajanagar. The journey is often as fun as the destination.

About Rave Reviews & Audience Moments

Whether it’s a quiet moment at a music festival or a bus-full of laughter, my puppets don’t just perform, they converse. I never follow a rigid script because no two crowds are the same, and that’s how I keep the energy real, even when Kokila Ajji starts roasting someone for their hometown.
