Our Studio and Safety Standards
We have designed our AC studios to be a safe, clean, and welcoming space for all our students. Whether your child is just starting their Mallakhamb journey or you are mastering advanced poses, we ensure a secure environment to help you push your limits with total confidence.
A look inside our clean and well lit training facility at the Gorai center. The video highlights our spacious floor plan, full length mirrors for checking form, and the extensive setup of red and blue safety mats placed around the Mallakhamb pole.
Our studio is filled with equipment designed for progressive and safe learning. This photo shows our colorful, interlocking floor mats and the large, soft cylindrical prop used for beginner balance training, all part of our commitment to a safe training space.
Even during advanced practice, safety is paramount. You can see our thick purple and grey mats positioned directly under the Mallakhamb pole, providing essential cushioning and protection as students perform complex gymnastic maneuvers.
About Our Studio & Safety
We don't just put up a pole and call it a day. Every session in our climate-controlled studio is actively spotted by our instructors, meaning someone is always right there to guide your grip or catch a slip before it becomes a fall. We use 8 to 10-inch thick, high-density PU foam crash mats around the entire impact zone, so whether you are trying your first climb or an advanced pose, you are landing on soft, protective ground.
Your Safety, Our Priority
Mallakhamb is an incredible sport, but we know that starting anything new—especially something that involves climbing and balancing—can feel daunting. That is exactly why we built our studio with safety as the non-negotiable foundation.
The Setup:
- Impact Protection: We surround every standard Seasoned Teak Wood Mallakhamb pole with professional-grade, 8 to 10-inch thick high-density PU foam mats. These aren't just for show; they are arranged specifically to cover the entire potential impact zone.
- Climate & Hygiene: Our studios across Borivali, Kandivali, Malad, and Thane are fully climate-controlled. This isn't just for comfort; it keeps the wood and the floor dry, reducing the risk of slips caused by humidity. We also follow a strict sanitization routine, wiping down poles to remove sweat and oil between batches.
- Active Spotting: You will never be left to figure out a move alone. During every 60-minute session, our instructors provide continuous, hands-on spotting. This is crucial for beginners who are still building their grip strength and learning the Malla grip.
Is this right for you? Whether you are a toddler gymnast or an adult looking for a full-body workout, you are training in a space designed to push your limits, not your luck. We keep our batches small (10 to 15 students) to ensure that the instructor can give every single person the focused attention they need, especially when it comes to learning safe landing techniques.
Come by for a drop-in session to see the mats, feel the grip of the pole, and meet the community that cheers each other on every step of the way!
