Professional PSA Decoy Services for Protection Dogs
To build a truly fearless protection dog, you need a trainer who understands how to be the adversary. As a certified PSA decoy, I wear the bite suit to safely test, pressure, and build your dog's confidence in a controlled, realistic environment.
These are some drills from a Decoy Certification Camp. Learning the proper techniques to catch a dog safely and test it effectively is a skill I am very proud of.
A strong dog needs a hard decoy. Here I am working with Deman, a powerful Malinois, absorbing the impact and testing his grip and determination.

About My Work as a Certified Decoy
Many people think protection training is just about aggression, but it is actually about control and understanding the decoy's movement. When I wear the bite suit, I am not just a target; I am a learning tool. I present the right amount of pressure at the right time, teaching your dog how to grip, hold, and release on command. This builds the nerve and precision needed for real-world scenarios, ensuring your dog stays steady under stress rather than reacting out of fear.
In the world of working dog sports, the decoy is the heartbeat of training. My role is not to fight the dog; it is to challenge them physically and mentally so they learn how to manage pressure. Whether we are preparing for a PSA trial or high-level personal protection work, the goal is always the same: a stable, courageous dog.
I focus heavily on prey drive development and grip mechanics. If a dog does not know how to bite with a full, calm mouth on the sleeve, they are at risk of injury and poor performance. I use the suit to test courage under fire, teaching the dog to engage properly while keeping their mind clear. This is not about mindless attack; it is about neutrality until the threat is real.
We practice scenario-based training. These are real-world simulations that teach your dog to differentiate between a friendly interaction and a genuine threat. Every 'shabash' (well done) I give is earned, and every correction is fair. If you are serious about working dog sports or need a reliable protection dog that listens, we start here.
