PSA Trials & Achievements
I am deeply involved in the Protection Sports Association (PSA), constantly competing and testing my skills. This is where we prove our training under the pressure of official trials. My own American Pitbull, Thor, made history as the first in India to clear the PSA PDC on a full bite suit.
Advanced Bite Work & Protection
This is where we build a confident and reliable protection dog. I focus on developing a full, firm grip and testing the dog's courage in various real-world scenarios, including at night and with distractions. Control is key, so every session reinforces the 'Out' command for a safe and immediate release.
My Work as a Certified Decoy
To train a great protection dog, you must understand the role of the adversary. As a certified decoy, I wear the bite suit to test and build a dog's confidence, nerve, and fighting ability. This experience allows me to safely push dogs to their limit and make them stronger.
Precision Obedience & Control
A protection dog must be perfectly obedient, even under extreme pressure. I build this foundation through clear commands and consistent practice, focusing on off-leash heeling, position changes, and instant recall. This control is what makes a protection dog safe and reliable in any situation.
Puppy & Young Dog Development
Greatness starts early. I believe in identifying and shaping a puppy's natural drives from a young age to build a strong foundation for future protection or sport work. This includes introduction to different surfaces, basic agility, grip development, and building confidence.
Athletic Conditioning & Agility
A protection dog is an athlete, and their physical fitness is as important as their mental sharpness. We incorporate agility and conditioning exercises to build strength, stamina, and body awareness. This includes parachute resistance running, jumps, and navigating various obstacles.
