About The Harsh Band: My Team of Artists
My band isn't a fixed lineup that plays the same set everywhere. I tailor the ensemble size and instrumentation specifically to the venue's acoustics and the energy of your crowd. Whether you need a 3-piece setup for a rhythmic Sufi evening or a full 6-piece band with drums and electric guitars for a high-energy dance night, we calibrate our sound and gear to fit the space perfectly.
Music is a team sport for me. My band members are not just musicians; they are part of a shared creative process that helps me translate my vision into a real, palpable energy on stage. When we perform as a trio, we focus on the raw rhythms of the tabla, dholak, and harmonium, keeping the 'Mehfil' vibe authentic and traditional. When the request is for a commercial club takeover, we bring in the full arsenal. Drums, electric guitars, bass, and keyboards join the mix to get the crowd moving. I treat every performance as a fresh start. We arrive early, test the acoustics, and work with the venue's setup to make sure the music feels right for the room. My goal is simple: to make sure that by the time we leave the stage, the guests have felt a real connection to the songs.
