Cinematic Cityscapes of Delhi and Mumbai
I find the cinematic in the chaos of our metropolises. From monsoon reflections in Mumbai to the golden light hitting Delhi's history, I capture the city's heartbeat.
This is not your usual Mumbai sunset. I found a hidden spot away from the chaos, where the green hills meet the sea. This video captures a serene, almost magical side of the city.
A unique perspective of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai. I used a puddle to create a perfect reflection, framing myself against the iconic bridge and the city skyline at sunset.
A top-down, abstract view of the architecture of Akshardham Temple in Delhi. This drone shot reveals the incredible symmetry and detail of the temple's domes and patterns.
A long-exposure shot of the Delhi Metro, creating a sense of speed and motion. This image captures the lifeline of the city, a symbol of its constant movement and energy.
The Pitampura TV Tower in Delhi, framed by lush green leaves. This shot finds a natural frame for an urban landmark, blending nature and city architecture.
A stunning aerial view of Humayun's Tomb in Delhi. My drone shot captures the grandeur of the Mughal-era monument and its surrounding gardens, showcasing its perfect symmetry.
A perfectly timed shot of an airplane flying past the Qutub Minar in Delhi. This photo juxtaposes the ancient and the modern, a theme that defines this historic city.
A tribute to Virat Kohli, filmed over the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. This drone video captures the fortress where a king's journey began, blending my love for cricket and my hometown.
You, me, and Yamuna Ghat. A top-down drone shot of a lone boat surrounded by a galaxy of seagulls. This image turns a simple scene into a work of art, capturing a moment of peaceful solitude.
Some people call it Delhi, I call it home. This video is my love letter to the city, featuring its iconic locations like Qutub Minar, Yamuna Ghat, and Humayun's Tomb.
About Cinematic Cityscapes: Delhi & Mumbai
I don't just point and shoot at landmarks. I hunt for the moments where the city slows down—a reflection in a puddle at the Sea Link or the way the morning light hits the Qutub Minar. Whether we are shooting in the heat of Delhi or the coastal breeze of Mumbai, I use 4K drone setups and 360-degree cameras to turn your urban environment into a personal movie.
My approach to city photography is grounded in the 'Golden Hour' principle. Whether we are in Delhi or Mumbai, the best footage comes when the light is low and the shadows are long. I prioritize scouting locations that offer more than just a backdrop—I look for lines, symmetry, and architectural patterns that define these cities.
The Gear & The Grind
I use the Sony ZV-E1 for its low-light performance, which is vital for those moody, early-morning city shots. For aerial perspective, my DJI Mini 3 Pro captures the scale of places like Akshardham or the Mumbai coastline, while the Insta360 helps me get those immersive POV shots that make you feel like you are walking through the frame. Everything is edited with a specific color grade—think deep teals and warm orange tones—to keep the aesthetic consistent.
How We Work Together
If you have a specific spot in mind—be it a heritage site or a hidden street corner—we should plan the shoot around the sun. If you want that 'cinematic film' vibe, I storyboard the session beforehand. We will capture a mix of wide landscape shots, architectural details, and candid lifestyle moments. Note that for heritage sites, we might need to secure permissions in advance, and I am always happy to guide you through that process.
Bean Singh
I’m Bean. I didn't go to film school; the chaotic lanes of Delhi and the coast of Mumbai taught me everything I know. My camera is just a tool to show you the magic hidden in the daily grind of our cities.
