Our Honest Ingredients and Homemade Process
I often get asked about the difference between my sweets and store-bought ones. Here is the honest truth about the ingredients I use and why my kitchen takes a little time to prepare your order.
My commitment to quality starts with my process. Everything is made fresh in my home kitchen only after you place an order, ensuring you receive the freshest possible product made with love and care.
These are the core ingredients for my Aata Gond Laddus. I use desi cow ghee, gond (dink), organic jaggery, a mix of nuts like walnuts and almonds, and aromatic cardamom. No hidden ingredients, just pure, wholesome goodness.
Wondering why you should eat Aata Gond Laddus? They are a great source of energy, help boost immunity, and improve digestion. They serve as a much healthier alternative to processed sweets available in the market.
Here is a breakdown of what goes into my Ragi Laddus. Along with the nutrient-dense ragi flour, I use desi cow ghee, organic jaggery for sweetness, and a variety of nuts and seeds for crunch and added nutrition.
Ragi, or finger millet, is an incredible superfood. It is rich in protein, calcium, and iron, which promotes heart health and is great for digestion. These benefits are packed into every delicious Ragi Laddu I make.
For my Jowar Laddus, I stick to simple, powerful ingredients. The base is jowar (sorghum) flour, blended with desi ghee, organic jaggery, nuts, raisins, and sesame seeds. Each ingredient is chosen for its flavor and health properties.
Jowar is a fantastic gluten-free grain that is rich in vitamins, minerals, protein, and fiber. It's a great antioxidant source and has anti-inflammatory properties, making my Jowar Laddus a truly nourishing treat.
About Our Ingredients & Process
Because I make every batch fresh after you order, my kitchen does not keep pre-made stock. When you see a label on a store-bought sweet that says it lasts for six months, you have to ask what is inside. In my kitchen, we use only organic jaggery and pure desi cow ghee. This means your order won't have the indefinite shelf life of factory-made snacks, but you will get the honest taste of food prepared at home with care.
Transparency is the only way I know how to run Humble Flavors. When you order from me, you are not getting a factory-processed product. You are getting food that starts with raw ingredients arriving at my kitchen.
The Ingredients I Choose
I do not use refined sugar in any of my sweets. I rely entirely on organic jaggery, which provides a natural sweetness without the energy crashes associated with sugar. The base of my laddus is always pure desi cow ghee, which I source for its quality and flavor profile.
For my millet range, I use Ragi (finger millet) and Jowar (sorghum) as the foundation. These are not just health trends; they are traditional grains that are dense in nutrients, fiber, and protein. Whether it is ragi for its calcium and iron content, or jowar for its antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, every ingredient serves a purpose.
Why The Wait Matters
I am often asked why I cannot provide 10-minute delivery. The answer is simple: I refuse to store food with preservatives. Everything from the roasting of the nuts to the hand-rolling of the laddus happens only after your order is confirmed.
When you place an order, my team and I start from scratch. This process usually takes 2-4 days. It is not because we are slow, but because I believe fresh food tastes better and feels better in your body. If you are ordering for an event or a gift, please plan for this lead time so I can give your batch the attention it deserves.
