This amphitheater space designed for UPSTOX is the heart of their collaborative zone. The custom wall graphic brings incredible energy, creating a perfect backdrop for town halls, brainstorming sessions, and informal team gatherings in a modern corporate environment.
Our studio's conference room balances sophistication and creativity. The custom-painted abstract wall art in earthy pastels creates a soothing atmosphere, while the black-stained Chandigarh chairs provide a sharp, contemporary contrast for focused client meetings.
In a busy office, creating zones for quiet work or leisure is key. This seating niche uses raw hollow bricks and an overhead mesh for plants, blending an industrial vibe with biophilic design to create a refreshing breakout area.
My personal cabin is designed for privacy while maintaining a visual connection to the studio. The desk itself embodies our philosophy, pairing a sourced vintage teak leg with a contemporary tabletop, a true juxtaposition of traditional and modern design.
I believe even functional spaces like a pantry should feel uplifting. Here, we used simple materials like hollow bricks for the island base, beige tiles, and plenty of plants to create a serene and inviting kitchen area for employees.
This is one of my favorite spots in our office. The balcony serves as a small escape, with Chettinad-inspired floor tiles and a simple neon sign that acts as a daily reminder to believe and become. It’s a perfect spot for a quick chai break.

About Commercial & Corporate Interior Design

I believe your workspace should feel like an extension of your company’s own vibe, not just a spot where laptops land. At House of Ruya, I blend calm with functionality, aiming for offices that make people want to stay a little longer—even on Mondays.

Spaces That Work Hard

  • Flexible workspace design is my jam—think big amphitheater areas for all-hands, chill corners for a quick chai (tea) break, and those must-have phone booths.
  • Reception isn’t just a waiting area. It’s the first time your brand speaks without words. I focus on first impressions that actually say something.
  • Every company’s got a story. I use custom wallpapers, bold materials, and graphics to weave your brand identity integration into the walls, not just slap a logo somewhere.

Details with Heart

  • You’ll spot a mix of earthy stuff like cement finishes and exposed bricks, paired with warm woods and plants. I sneak in Chettinad touches or brass bits to keep things rooted, plus glass and modern lighting for a sharp look.
  • Biophilic office interiors—yes, plants everywhere. They’re not just for looks, they help folks breathe easy and stay fresh.

The Process, Real Talk

  • Moodboards come first so we’re all dreaming the same dream.
  • You’ll catch me on-site, checking every corner, sometimes even calling out “Bhaiya, idhar dekho!” (Brother, look here!) to get the little things right.
  • From start to finish, I stay hands-on. No shortcuts.

If you want a workspace that feels good, works hard, and has its own story, that’s what I do.

My Story

Five years back, House of Ruya started with just me, big dreams, and zero business background. Now we’re eight women strong, building spaces with soul. There've been late nights, chai spills, and patti (hair ties) everywhere, but every project feels personal. Like framing a client’s amma’s (mother’s) wedding saree for their wall – that’s the kind of magic we love. Grateful for all the trust. We’ll always try to bring your dreams home.

My Work

Bespoke Architecture & Interior Design - We design homes and spaces with a mix of classical contemporary and understated luxury, featured in leading design magazines.

Minimal Indian Interiors - Our look blends neutral palettes with earthy Indian colours, Chettinad furniture, Kalamkari wall art and vintage touches.

Hands-on Creative Process - We sketch, model in 3D, and work with traditional artisans—sometimes those whose families carved Madurai temple stones.

Spaces That Feel Like You - Your home should invite conversations, not just TV-watching. We focus on individuality and details that reflect you.
