Sustainable Art Installations and Kinetic Sculptures
Transforming spaces into interactive, eco-conscious narratives with custom sculptures and installations that move, engage, and reflect your brand's core values.
A wider view of the eco-friendly rock installation for My Home Group. The piece is designed to be a focal point in the corporate lobby, reflecting the brand's connection to nature and its solid, resilient foundation.
This hot-desking area features a stunning kinetic art installation made from 18 cartons of repurposed beer cans. The piece is fitted with sensors that trigger a chain reaction of movement, creating a show-stopping, interactive experience that highlights sustainability.
In addition to painted murals, we also create fabric sculptures and other installations. The red piece on the wall is a fabric sculpture that adds texture and dimension, while the painted Budweiser bow and sustainability-themed column art complete the branded hallway.
This project shows the real impact of art. We collaborated with 32 artists on a single brand HQ, creating murals and a sustainable kinetic art piece from 18 cartons of recycled bottles. The result was a space that employees loved and talked about daily.
About this collection
When I design these installations, I look for ways to make the art part of your brand's actual footprint. For instance, in one corporate project, we took 18 cartons of recycled beverage containers and engineered them into a kinetic wall piece that triggers a chain reaction when people walk by. It isn't just about placing a sculpture in a lobby, it is about taking waste and turning it into a conversation piece that changes throughout the day.
Beyond the Wall
Many spaces feel static because the art on the walls is generic. My approach to installations starts with a simple question: what is the story your space is trying to tell? Whether it is a corporate headquarters or a public-facing retail outlet, I move beyond flat surfaces to create work that occupies three dimensions.
The Process of Kinetic Design
I specialize in kinetic and mixed-media installations that require more than just painting skills. This involves:
- Material Selection: I often work with recycled and sustainable materials, such as repurposed aluminum, fabric, or consumer waste, to align with environmental commitments.
- Technical Integration: If your project requires movement or interactivity, I incorporate sensors and mechanics to ensure the installation responds to the people in the room.
- Structural Safety: For corporate settings, I handle the technical side—scaffolding access, electrical safety for kinetic elements, and EHS compliance—so your office operations are never disrupted.
Why Invest in Bespoke Installations?
An art installation is a strategic asset. It creates a focal point that defines the energy of a room. When we collaborate, we look at the specific lighting, the foot traffic patterns of your employees, and the brand identity you want to project. It is not just decoration; it is an experience that makes a space feel alive and intentional.
From fabric sculptures that soften hard architectural lines to kinetic walls that engage visitors, I am here to help you move away from mass-produced decor and toward something that is distinctly yours.
Shagufta
I am Shagufta, and I founded Hopping Hare because I believe art should break free from canvases. I spend my days building installations—kinetic, recycled, and tactile—that turn blank, sterile corners into spaces that truly breathe.
