Why I Paint
Painting is where I find a little space just for myself, away from the daily juggle of life and motherhood. For me, every canvas is a chance to freeze a feeling or memory - not just for me, but for you too. Nature is my go-to inspiration, and I want each piece to feel like it belongs in your story.
What You'll Get
- My style is mostly contemporary-realistic, but I like adding a bit of heart and personality.
- I use both acrylic and oil paints, depending on what vibe we’re going for.
- Love painting flowers the most - sunflowers, roses, all those pretty details.
- Also do animal portraits (think lions, hummingbirds), especially if you love a bit of wild energy at home.
- I sometimes make abstract canvas art for interiors or classic still life pieces.
- I like using golden backgrounds and metallics so the painting has a soft glow - thoda chamak (a little shine), you know?

My Story
Hey, I’m Shagufta. You know, life’s a constant juggle - being a mom, chasing dreams, and yes, painting big, bold art. My first mural in Nagpur flipped a switch for me, made me see walls as giant canvases. From there, Hopping Hare was born. Seventy-plus murals later, I’m still happiest with a brush in hand, splashing colour and stories where there were none. Art isn’t just my work, it’s home.
