Why I Run These Workshops
I genuinely think anyone can paint, even if you haven’t touched a brush since school. My workshops are about giving yourself a break, letting go, and just enjoying the act of creating. No fancy jargon, no pressure - just a relaxed creative workshop where it’s okay to make mistakes.
How the Session Flows
- 3 hours where you can forget about everything else and just paint.
- I guide you step by step, breaking things down so it doesn’t get overwhelming.
- We play with watercolors, try out easy techniques, and you’ll end up with a finished piece you can actually be proud of.
My Style & What You’ll Learn
I’m drawn to nature-inspired art sessions, and I love showing how simple color choices and composition can change everything. If you’re looking for a beginner watercolor class, you’re in the right place. We’ll go over basics like mixing colors, planning your painting, and a few tricks I’ve picked up over the years.
Who This Is For
- Anyone 17 and up, especially if you’re new or just want a chill escape.
- Everything’s provided - paints, paper, and even some chai and snacks. Just bring yourself and maybe a friend.

My Story
Hey, I’m Shagufta. You know, life’s a constant juggle - being a mom, chasing dreams, and yes, painting big, bold art. My first mural in Nagpur flipped a switch for me, made me see walls as giant canvases. From there, Hopping Hare was born. Seventy-plus murals later, I’m still happiest with a brush in hand, splashing colour and stories where there were none. Art isn’t just my work, it’s home.
