Finding space for a mandir in a modern apartment is tough. We design compact, beautiful pooja units that fit right into your TV console, wardrobe, or a quiet niche, bringing peace into your home without clutter.

In a modern apartment, every inch counts. This video shows a pooja unit I designed as part of the main living room's TV console. The arched doors open to reveal a sacred space with a custom backlit Sai Baba panel, proving that smart design can beautifully merge daily life and devotion.

Here is a closer look at a mandir I designed within a full-height bedroom wardrobe. The custom "Om" mandala on the door signifies the space's purpose. Inside, warm lighting and dedicated shelves create a private and peaceful spot for prayer.

This wider view shows how the integrated wardrobe mandir fits into the overall bedroom design. It maintains the room's clean lines and modern aesthetic while providing a dedicated and personal spiritual corner, complete with storage for essentials.

Even a small niche can be transformed into a divine corner. For this project, I used a custom-arched frame and a backlit CNC jali panel with an "Om" motif to create a stunning focal point. The design includes a marble-finish base with drawers for storing pooja items.

It was an honor to design this home for an NRI client's parents. This compact wall-mounted mandir is a key feature, providing a lovely, traditional space for daily prayers. The design includes a backlit jali panel and a small foldable platform, making it both beautiful and functional.

About Smart Mandirs for Urban Homes

We don't believe in one-size-fits-all, especially for prayer spaces. When we integrate a mandir into your TV unit or wardrobe, we ensure it is not just a hollow box with lights. We use BWP marine ply to prevent moisture damage from daily cleaning, and we calculate the depth specifically so your largest idol fits comfortably with space for diyas. It is about making sure your daily ritual feels natural in your living room, not like an afterthought.
