Your swing is unique, so why use clubs made for an average golfer? In my workshop, I transform your equipment using precise data so your clubs match your body and swing perfectly.

A glimpse into the custom building process. Here, I'm using a heat gun to properly set the ferrule on a new iron build, ensuring a perfect and durable fit.

This is my workshop, where I bring the data to life. I'm checking the specifications of a club, ensuring every detail from loft to lie angle is exactly as prescribed by the fitting session.

Building a set of iconic Miura Itobori irons. This process involves applying epoxy and carefully assembling the club head and shaft, a craft that requires precision and expertise.

You must avoid poorly fitted clubs. Here in the workshop, I can adjust your existing clubs or build new ones to ensure they match your swing, preventing bad habits and improving performance.

The benefits of custom clubs are immense. In this video, you can see me working on adjusting a club's specifications, a process that can fix swing issues and lead to instant improvement.

No matter how good you are, custom fitting will make you better. This is me in the workshop, making precise adjustments to a club head to optimize its performance for a client.

About In The Workshop: Custom Builds & Retrofitting

Every club in your bag has a personality, but it needs to match yours. When I work on your clubs, I am not just tweaking a shaft or bending a lie angle. I am adjusting the physical build to match what the TrackMan data showed us about your launch, spin, and face control. Whether we are retrofitting a set you have had for years or building new irons from scratch, the goal is simple: removing the variables that force you to compensate during your swing.

From Data to Reality

My workshop is where the data we collect during fitting sessions becomes reality. A great swing analysis is useless if the club in your hand cannot execute what your body is trying to do. When I take your club into the workshop, I look at the build specs. This includes loft and lie angles, shaft frequency, swing weight, and grip size.

Why Retrofitting Matters

Many golfers assume they need new gear when their current set just needs a refresh. Retrofitting involves checking the integrity of your current shafts, verifying the loft and lie against your swing path, and adjusting the clubhead to your current tempo. If you are hitting shots thin or heavy, it is often a lie angle issue that can be solved with a precise adjustment on my Mitchell machine. If your dispersion is wide, we might need to adjust the swing weight to change how the clubhead releases through impact.

The Craft of the Build

For new builds, the process is pure craft. It involves checking head weights, epoxy preparation, and ensuring the ferrule is perfectly set. It is about consistency across the set. You want the feel of your 7-iron to be identical to your wedge. That is the standard I set in my workshop. Using technology to guide the physical build allows us to eliminate the variables that hold you back, leading to cleaner contact and more predictable ball flight.

I am Sandy, and I run the workshop at Heev World. I spend my days between the TrackMan studio and the bench, using data to fix gear problems that hold golfers back. If you are tired of fighting your own clubs, bring them in.
