Themed & Figurative Mehndi Art in Mumbai
Mehndi is more than patterns; it is a way to tell your unique story. From regal elephants to intricate spiritual motifs, let us turn your palms into a canvas of art.
A divine creation on the arm, this design features Lord Ganesha seated on a lotus. He is surrounded by a peacock and elegant palace architecture, blending spirituality with royal motifs.
This detailed mehndi was created for a "Tapasavi" observing Updhyan tap. The design includes the Shatrunjay tirth, elephants, and the message "Tapasvi Amar Raho" to honor his spiritual dedication.
This design focuses on majestic architectural elements, with grand domes and archways. A graceful peacock with a flowing tail adds a touch of nature and royalty to the piece.
A bold and beautiful back-hand design. It features a grand elephant under an archway, topped with a temple dome, making it a statement piece for any special occasion.
This elegant back-hand design is perfect for someone who wants figurative art that isn't a full portrait. It features a classic elephant motif and delicate love birds, symbolizing strength and partnership.
About Themed & Figurative Art
These figurative designs require patience and precision, which is why I recommend booking at least three weeks before your function. Because I create these freehand without stencils, we spend time planning the placement of each element, whether it is a specific temple archway or a tiny baraat scene, to ensure it flows perfectly with your hand’s natural shape.
People often ask why I focus so much on themed figures like palaces, elephants, and Radha Krishna. It is because Yahaan har mehndi ki hai apni kahani (Here, every mehndi has its own story). Unlike standard floral trails, figurative art captures a moment or a belief that matters to you.
My Process
Whether you want a grand Shatrunjay tirth or delicate love birds, I sketch these directly onto the skin. No stencils, no shortcuts. My focus is on achieving that rich, deep stain using my signature organic Sojat henna paste. Because these designs are packed with detail, they take longer than traditional patterns, so we will need to set aside dedicated time for the application.
Design Elements
I love working with classic motifs. Elephants represent royalty, temples signify spiritual grounding, and peacocks add a touch of grace. If you have a specific scene in mind, like a proposal memory or a family symbol, bring it to me. I will weave it into a design that looks classic yet deeply personal.
Care & Quality
I prepare my henna 48 hours in advance using triple-sifted powder and essential oils. The result is a bold, dark stain that lasts. After the application, I use a lemon-sugar sealant to keep the design intact while it sets. For the best results, avoid water for 6 to 8 hours and keep your hands warm to help the dye release fully.
