Unlike regular noodles that rely on maida and frying, our noodle blocks are steamed using ancient grains like Ragi and Moringa. This keeps them dense and nutritious, but it does mean they need about 5-7 minutes of boiling to get that perfect al dente texture—just be sure not to overcook them, or they lose that firm bite.
When my son's doctor told us to cut out maida and junk food, I didn't want to just give my kids bland, boring meals. I wanted them to have the snacks they loved, but made with ingredients that actually nourish them. That is the philosophy behind everything I make at Healthy Master.
Why Millets & Ancient Grains?
I swapped maida for Ragi, Jowar, and Quinoa because these grains are packed with fiber, protein, and essential minerals. They keep you full longer and don't cause that post-snack energy crash. Whether it is our Ragi noodles or our specialty Red Rice macaroni, you are getting complex carbohydrates instead of empty calories.
The 'No-Fry' Steaming Tech
Most store-bought noodles are deep-fried to extend shelf life and speed up cooking. I didn't want that. My team and I use steaming technology, which means there is zero oil involved in the preparation of our noodle cakes. This results in a much lighter product that doesn't leave you feeling heavy or lethargic.
A Simple Way to Cook
- Boiling: Because these are made of dense, high-fiber grains, they take slightly longer to cook than your standard instant noodles. Be patient—give them 7 to 10 minutes in boiling water.
- The Masala: We include a natural spice mix sachet with every pack. No MSG, no artificial chemicals. Just real Indian spices that bring that 'ghar ka swaad' (taste of home) back to your kitchen.
