See the wild through the eyes of those who have joined my tours. From technical mentorship in the field to the quiet moments between safaris, this is what it feels like to join one of my photography expeditions.

A glimpse into one of my photography workshops at Dayananda Sagar University. It was heartwarming to interact with over 170 students and faculty, sharing my knowledge and passion for wildlife photography.

I was honored to be at the premiere of the beautiful wildlife film, "Nilgiris," directed by my friend Sandesh Kadur. I was present during the filming of the panther sequences and saw the incredible hard work that went into it.

I am thrilled to be onboarded as a ZEISS Nature Influencer. Using their high-quality binoculars is essential for my work in tracking and observing wildlife.

Cherished memories with a wonderful group of people during our winter tours in Kanha and Bandhavgarh.

The group from our second Kanha batch, posing at the park entrance. The camaraderie on these trips is as memorable as the wildlife.

Our first Bandhavgarh full-day tour group. We had spectacular moments, including a tigress with three cubs on a kill.

The team from our second Bandhavgarh batch. Despite weather challenges, patience was rewarded with a dream-like sighting of a tigress and cubs in the mist.

Participants from our Tadoba summer photo safari. The trip was a tiger treat, with everyone getting outstanding opportunities to photograph tiny cubs.

Another happy group from the Tadoba workshop. Guests went back with lots of images and even more memories.

Posing with our third batch of guests in Tadoba. We have already opened bookings for the next season!

About Behind the Lens: The Workshop Experience

You won't find us sitting in a classroom. We focus on real-time field mentorship where I help you adjust your camera settings as the action unfolds, whether that means managing high ISO in heavy monsoon light or positioning your vehicle for that perfect, intimate eye-level shot of a tiger.

My workshops are designed to bridge the gap between just taking photos and telling the story of the animal in front of you. When you join me on a tour, you are not just a passenger in a jeep. We talk about how to read the forest before the action starts. We look at behavior, wind direction, and tracks to predict where the cat will move next. This is the difference between a lucky shot and a deliberate frame.

We keep group sizes small—maximum four people per vehicle. This isn't just for comfort; it is for craft. It allows me to hop between seats, check your composition, and guide your eye toward the details you might miss in the heat of the moment. We cover everything from technical setups for low-light morning drives in Kabini to the rapid focus adjustments needed for birding at Ranganathittu.

In the evenings, we don't just relax. We sit down to review the day's footage, look at Lightroom workflows, and discuss why some shots worked and others didn't. You will leave with more than just a memory card full of images; you will leave with a new way of looking at the wild. Whether we are chasing big cats in Tadoba or capturing macro life in the Western Ghats, the goal is always the same: to stop guessing and start anticipating.

I am Harsha, and people call me Catman. I have spent 15 years tracking the jungle's secrets, and I do not run classroom courses. I bring you into the heart of the forest to teach you how to read its pulse and capture the stories unfolding in front of your lens.
