About Collaborations & My Musical Journey
Whether I am jamming at a G20 Summit or collaborating on a Bollywood track, my approach remains the same: pure, disciplined sound. My classical training from BHU means I never compromise on the raag integrity, but my Zitar setup allows me to adapt to any volume or energy level your event requires.
My musical path has taken me from the practice rooms of BHU to the high-energy stages of the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta and the Dubai Opera. When you see me perform, whether as a soloist or with my fusion band, you are hearing the result of years of riyaaz (practice).
I do not just show up to play; I understand the event pulse. For formal gatherings, I stick to the acoustic sitar, keeping the raags subtle and the atmosphere sophisticated. If you are planning a corporate gala, sangeet, or a high-energy reception, I bring out the Zitar. This electric version of the sitar is designed to cut through the sound of a full band, ensuring the melody is never lost in the crowd.
I have shared the stage with icons like Shankar Mahadevan, Udit Narayan, and Ayushmann Khurrana, which has taught me how to adapt quickly to different performance formats. Whether it is a duet with a tabla player, a full fusion set with drums and keys, or a solo devotional performance, I prioritize the vibe you want to set.
