High-Speed FPV Drone Tracking for Drifting and Track Action

I don't just film drifting and track days. I put my custom drones in the middle of the chaos, chasing drift cars and superbikes at over 120kmph. If it is loud, fast, and on the tarmac, I am the pilot you want on the line.

The ultimate track day showdown: a 2JZ Lexus drifting in tandem with a BMW S1000RR superbike. This is the kind of dynamic motorsport filming I live for.

A stylized, high-contrast look at a Toyota Aristo drifting. The FPV perspective lets you feel every slide and turn as if you were right there on the track.

Full-throttle drifting action, getting up close to the car as it shreds tires around the course. This is pure, unadulterated FPV car cinematography.

Chasing a Lexus GS300 as it executes perfect drifts. My drone follows every move, capturing the skill and power of the driver and machine.

Flying low and fast on the Buddh International Circuit, chasing a formula-style student race car as it exits the pit lane and hits the main straight.

A fun session chasing a go-kart. Even at a smaller scale, the FPV drone captures the speed and agility of the vehicle in a unique way.

An FPV frame grab of a go-kart kicking up a cloud of dust on a paved track. This shot freezes the high-speed moment, showing the raw energy of the race.

About Drifting & Track Action

When I am on track, safety and communication are everything. I do not just show up and fly. I do a full track walk and safety assessment before the engines start, making sure my chase lines work perfectly with the driver's drift entry. Whether we are running tandems at the Buddh International Circuit or hitting a local drift event, I coordinate directly with the crew so I am in the smoke, not in the way.

How I Get The Shot

Getting that perfect tracking shot of a drift car is not about flying high. It is about hugging the bumper, timing the entry, and staying stable while the car kicks up a wall of smoke. I use custom-built 5-inch freestyle quads for this because they are agile enough to weave through tight corners and fast enough to keep up with a 2JZ-powered Lexus or a superbike.

The Technical Side

I operate with a dedicated backup rig on site for zero downtime. When the light is fading or the tires are burning, I do not want to stop. My drones are rigged with ND filters to give you that realistic motion blur, and I use ReelSteady or Gyroflow to ensure the raw footage is buttery smooth, even when I am pulling heavy G-force maneuvers to stay on the line.

Why Track Pilots Choose Me

Motorsport videography is different from cinematic work. You only get one chance to capture that perfect drift transition. My background in FPV racing means I have the reflexes to anticipate the line. I have worked with teams like reptilianracers and captured everything from amateur track days to high-stakes runs at the Buddh International Circuit. If you have a project in mind, from a 4-hour quick hit to a full-day event, let us talk about the logistics. Whether it is 2 AM in the desert or mid-day on a pro circuit, I am ready to chase it.

I have been living and breathing FPV drones since 2015. It is not just a job for me, it is an obsession with speed and getting that one insane angle everyone else misses. When I am not building my own rigs, I am out in the dirt or on the tarmac, chasing whatever moves fast enough to keep me on my toes.
