About Yoga for Internal Health
When we talk about internal health, it is not just about the poses you hold. I start by understanding your Prakriti, which helps us see how your digestion and energy are currently functioning. This allows us to use tools like the Uddiyana Bandha you see here not just as a generic technique, but as a specific, functional action to stimulate your abdominal organs and clear internal blockages.
For me, Ayurveda and Yoga are not separate paths. They are sister sciences. When you come to me for guidance, we do not just practice on the mat. We look at your daily rhythm, your diet, and the imbalances that might be causing friction in your life.
My goal is a 'Rog-mukt jeevan' (a disease-free life). To get there, we work on two fronts:
- The Practice: I teach specific Bandhas and Kriyas that target the internal organs. We focus on proper alignment and breath control, ensuring you are stimulating the system correctly without overexertion.
- The Lifestyle: Through our sessions, whether online or at my Pitampura studio, we look at your diet. We use Ayurvedic principles to adjust what you eat and when, helping you balance your Doshas naturally.
