Gardening is about building a connection with nature. We apply permaculture principles to create resilient, low-maintenance green spaces that respect the earth and thrive in Mumbai's climate.

Here on my balcony, I'm tending to some newly propagated indoor plants. I grow many of my own plants this way, which ensures they are strong and ready for their new homes.

I'm proud to be a certified Permaculture designer. This certification from Aranya Agricultural Alternatives represents my commitment to sustainable, eco-friendly gardening practices that respect our planet.

Here I am receiving my Permaculture Design certification. This training has deeply influenced my approach to gardening, emphasizing care for the earth, care for people, and sharing resources fairly.

This is my personal seed bank. I collect and store seeds from various plants in these recycled jars, which is a core practice of permaculture. It allows me to be self-reliant and share a wide variety of plants with the community.

Propagating new plants from cuttings is one of my favorite things to do. Here, I am planting a small succulent cutting, which will soon grow roots and become a whole new plant. This is a simple and sustainable way to multiply plants.

This mother succulent plant is a great example of propagation. You can see the new baby plants, or "pups," sprouting from the base and even from fallen leaves. Each one can be separated to start a new life.

About My Permaculture Approach

Every plant in your home deserves a strong start. We do not just buy from nurseries; we propagate our own succulents and ferns from cuttings. This means our plants are already acclimated to the local climate and are ready to thrive in your space without the shock of sudden environment changes.
