About Terrace & Rooftop Structures
When building rooftop extensions, the integrity of the framework is our primary focus. We use site-fabricated Mild Steel box sections, typically 75mm to 100mm, treated for rust and painted in matte black or charcoal to match modern exteriors. This steel skeleton supports your choice of 10mm toughened glass or insulated PUF sandwich panels, ensuring the structure withstands wind loads while remaining watertight.
Our process converts open terraces into fully usable interior space. Whether you need a home office pod, a sunroom, or an additional lounge, we design the footprint to fit your existing layout rather than forcing a standard box design. For glass-heavy structures, we use 10mm toughened clear glass fixed with silicone weather sealants, offering visibility and natural light without compromising durability.
For spaces requiring climate control, we incorporate 50mm to 75mm PUF sandwich panels, which provide high thermal insulation to keep the temperature manageable throughout the year. We finish these builds with wooden-finish laminate flooring or SPC tiles and conceal the internal roof panels with flat PVC or Gypsum ceilings, including integrated LED downlights. Electrical wiring is concealed within the walls, providing a clean, finished look similar to any other room in your house. Please note that our project pricing is calculated per square foot and excludes foundational concrete work or AC unit installation.
