Our Nature Community and Press Features
See our growing tribe of families choosing mud over malls, and the stories behind our mission to bring wild magic to city kids.
This is what our community looks like. Families coming together on weekends to explore, climb, and breathe fresh air, choosing nature over malls and screens. We are a tribe connected by our love for the wild.
We were so thrilled to be featured by The Better India. This recognition for our work in giving city kids a childhood filled with forests, treks, and campfires means the world to us and inspires us to keep going.
Green Panther makes the news. We were featured in the Mid-Day Mumbai newspaper for expanding our nature initiatives to new cities, a testament to the growing need for urban families to connect with the outdoors.
A special nature walk for a friends' meetup. We were so happy when one of our regular families asked us to host an event for their friends, showing how the love for nature spreads within our community.
A selfie with the tribe. It's moments like these, with a happy group of kids, parents, and even a furry friend, that remind us why we do what we do. Building this community is at the heart of our mission.
Our launch event in Pune was a huge success. We gathered at a beautiful cafe for an evening of nature activities, storytelling, and community building, officially welcoming Pune families to the Green Panther club.
Meet our naturalist, Arun Kaulige. With a deep knowledge of farming, trees, and birds, Arun's passion for environmental education is invaluable to our mission of inspiring the next generation of explorers.
Our official launch poster for Pune. We love collaborating with local spaces like Cafe Kathaa to host our get-togethers, bringing nature activities and storytelling to new communities.
Meet our founder, Shruti Jha. Green Panther began with her simple desire to nurture her own child's connection with nature and grew into a community dedicated to weaving wonder into kids' everyday experiences.
About Our Community & Press
We started as a small backyard initiative in Bengaluru and have grown into a community spanning three cities because parents were looking for the same thing: a way to swap screens for streams. Every moment you see here, from our press features in The Better India to our muddy weekend trails, represents a family that decided to choose wild adventures over another mall trip.
Nature for us is not just about a walk in the park. It is about building a community of like-minded parents and kids who value real, messy experiences over convenience. Our community has flourished because we offer more than just a tour; we offer a way to reconnect.
Why Our Community Matters
We are proud to have been featured in publications like The Better India and Mid-Day, not because of the press itself, but because it validates the growing need for urban families to step outside. When city kids spend their weekends climbing trees or searching for insects, they build resilience and curiosity that a classroom cannot provide.
Join the Tribe
Whether it is a special meetup for a group of friends or a public workshop in a local garden, our events are designed to be inclusive. We believe that when you put a nature journal in a child's hand, you are giving them a tool to observe the world. Our naturalists, like Arun Kaulige, ensure that every trail walk or camp is an educational journey.
We are currently active in Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai. If you are a parent looking to trade screen time for campfire stories, join our tribe. We are always adding new walks, workshops, and camps to our calendar, and we would love to see you on the trails next weekend.
Green Panther
We are a group of parents and naturalists who grew tired of indoor play zones and malls. We believe that childhood should be messy, magical, and spent outdoors, so we created a space to build that. We are just here to facilitate those wild, mud-filled memories for your little ones.
